I have lost 44 pounds on the ketogenic diet at 59 years old. I am now 60 years old and continue to maintain my weight-loss. I am healthier and in better shape than I have ever been. I have reached my fat loss goals and continue to tone my body and get in better shape as I age. At 60 years old I continue to stay fit and healthy on the keto diet. As we age it gets harder to lose weight because our bodies change and our metabolisms slow down. We have to put in more effort to get the same results that we did when we were younger. The keto diet helps us to accomplish these goals by putting our bodies in a state of ketosis which helps us use our stored fat for energy. We do this by cutting down our consumption of carbohydates and forcing our bodies to use fat for energy in the absence of carbs.
